Auntie Jen is a wonderful Filipina who lives up in the mountains of Davao. She is actually the caretaker of Alice Log House (the place we stay along the main road), and on this day, she guided me to a hidden waterfalls.

Just off the main road you can find cold springs, and tucked away amongst mountain ridges and vegetation... lots of waterfalls! The Bukidnon Davao Road is full of hidden natural wonders. All it takes is going a little bit off the main road, and in this case... some help from a local Filipina guide. It was so wonderful learning more about the area, and just spending time hiking around nearby the mountain ridges.

I have always had awesome experiences when I spontaneously head off into the bukid...

And this was another one of those!

Cold springs, waterfalls, and lots of beautiful mountain views!
