HUNTING ALIEN CRABS ON THE BEACH - Our Land In The Philippines Davao Home Life

I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO DESCRIBE THEM... ALIEN CRABS!!

Okay, that isn't their names, but really they do look like aliens! As I was out for a morning run along the beach, I noticed a local Filipino man quietly staring at the ocean. Turns out he was hunting a unique variety of crab that lives along the beach here in Cateel, Davao Oriental.

I had no clue these crabs exist in the sand!?

Anyways, he taught me a bit about them, and showed me his technique for hunting them! Very cool! There is always something unique to find here along the beach!

This is just another raw day from our land in the Philippines! Our davao beach home life continues...
