MY NEW BIKE IN THE PHILIPPINES - Healthy Transport in Davao

MY BEING HEALTHY hasn't been totally successful lately, but I made a start.

Remember my bicycle from the UK that needed repairing? Well, I shipped it to the Philippines a couple of months ago, and it's arrived. And it is now in roadworthy (?) condition!

But I start near Kapatagan in Digos at a memorial to a massacre of 39 Bagobo Tagabawa people back in 1989, a beautiful place on the foothills of Mount Apo with a slightly chequered past, that is now moving ahead - and the people were oh so friendly! Bamboo chicken!

Then a trip back to Cateel where I'll be staying for a while, first fixing my bike, and then heading over to Olan's place called Playa Leopolda. I'll be back there for sure!
