I DIDN'T PLAN TO COME HERE. And when I did, I was just looking for mossy forest. I didn't find mossy forest, but I couldn't get enough of what I did find.

A narrow valley floor, full of upland rice and vegetables, surrounded by forested mountains, the only outlet the Caraga River, and the only road in newly built. And plenty of Mandaya culture that I'm excited to explore more in the future.

And they certainly don't see many outsiders here, let alone foreigners!

The Sea of Clouds is first up, and we close with Tagbibinta Falls and some food! But Maragusan's true gem is in the next valley over - and I need to explore it more some time, with better planning.
