PHILIPPINES CITY OF MURALS - Filipino Street Art In Tagum - DAVAO IS BLOOMING

TAGUM CITY IS ABOUT TO BECOME THE "CITY OF MURALS".... at least it looks that way!! Artists have come together to paint the streets and parks in almost a "bayanihan" style. Yes, they are doing it for free! Just out of passion for their home, and love for art!

In this video, I start the day by surprising and meeting my amazing Filipina neighbor Tita Linda. She taught for 39 years in Tagum and it was great catching up about History and life. I really am loving this Barangay!!

After meeting up with my doctor, I headed to the Tagum City Historical and Cultural Center where I met an artist who is helping inspire the murals you are seeing around the city. Yes, there are A LOT of murals here now! But this is only the beginning... The capital of Davao Del Norte is blooming with color, art, and positive vibes!!
