What am I talking about? Well the DOST Region XI and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are running a "Grassroots Innovation for Inclusive Development" program here in Davao Region. What that means, is we head off and immerse ourselves with communities... But the way we do it?

"SalikLakbay" style.

On this day we head off to the mountains of Davao de Oro and spend time in Barangay Golden Valley with a Mansaka Tribal community. From experiencing their unique style of bamboo cooking and coffee, to interacting and learning with their elders, to appreciating the houses and community atmosphere... This was another amazing day in Mindanao!
